Yes, it had a rough launch, and there are still issues needing to be resolved, but it's undeniably a game that could only exist as a live service, and takes full advantage of the model, thoroughly embracing the concept of a player-driven, galactic war. Helldivers 2, though, has thoroughly brightened up the world of live service games in 2024. Seemingly prescriptive and uninspired, there's little evidence of it using the live service model or multiplayer systems creatively, leaving me to wonder why anyone would play it instead of Sea of Thieves. From what we've seen in the open beta, you shouldn't hold your breath. Wishing each of you a great golfing season! The Sonar testing thread reminded me how great they are and I've added some to my 2 iron and drivers. I switched a few years ago to the wrap with calibrate and after two seasons of liking them, I wanted a change so last season I returned to the Sonar + grip. The Lamkin Sonar + have been my favorite textured grips to play for the last 6 years. It's long, a little firm and on the budgeted side of things, offers reduced remorse if I send one off the planet. I was immensely pleased with how responsive it was around the green and that was a primary driver in making it my ball of choice. Srixon Z-StarXV has been very surprising for me. testing thread from last season, I don't see myself as a poor putter who needs help, I saw it as an opportunity to possibly improve my game.so we'll see. It's been a lot of fun to practice with and at the worst, I return to my 35" putter. The 35" MEZZ.1 has been wonderful and this December, I added the broom. I'll be exploring wedges this season.Īs far as putters go, I am all-in on L.A.B. Not the best but they get the job done for me. T100 irons went in the bag last summer and if you want to read about me fawning over them you can check the link in my signature.the best irons I've ever played. Not as responsive as the white but gives me the height and control I am looking for. The Tensei 1K black is a very reliable and no frills shaft. Last year I added a U505 prior generation 2 iron to fill a gap between my 4 iron and 3 wood. It's a point and shoot fairway for me and I'm supremely happy with it as my 240-265 club. This will be season 3 and it's been excellent. I've kept a SIM2 Titanium 3 wood with a Ventus Blue 7-X for a while. Some days are great, others, not so great. I want the TSi3 to be the driver however I am having control issues. To begin, I am still loving my G400 LST with a Tensei 1K white.the best shaft I've found lately with a great balance of control and feel. Many of you have had a great impact on what I play and why I play it. This year begins year #7 as a MGS member and I have been DEEPLY influenced by the culture of this forum. Inspired by the Genesis Invitational on a snowy and cold Rochester day, I thought it was appropriate to share a WITB update.
